Description

You are to prepare a presentation based on these three (3) questions. The presentation must be easy to understand, clean, clear and concise. Presentation will be organised individually. Please research and come out with your very own definition of:

What is brand?
What is brand identity?
What is branding?


In addition, you are to research and analyze a well-established brand (ie. Coca-Cola, Starbucks, Dell, etc) as a case study. Identify the type of logo used and explain the brand identity ideals.

When a logo is understood, it is the fastest way to communicate a brand's purpose. 

And the best identities advance a brand.

FEEDBACK

The information is well-presented and interesting. Good examples given and the analysis of the chosen case study is quite thorough. Even though the case study subject is the same as another classmate's, the way the information is presented is different and unique to each other's.

REFLECTION

Experience
I didn't find this project that difficult because I'm already used to doing research for assignments. It was quite interesting to read and learn so much about branding because I only knew the basics of it before this project.

Observation

I tend to read too much that sometimes I overload myself with too much information at one go. I also get really immersed in it so I have to force myself to stop at some point.

Findings

Branding is really important because it affects consumer behaviour, which in the long-run, can increase business value and marketing effectiveness as well as command higher prices for products. I also found that a company with successful branding is basically a company with consistent branding elements.
